Nuclear Missile Launch, Detected.
Hello what dismally few people are reading this, and welcome to something slightly altered. But before you ask, no I haven’t left Spooncraft to rot and I will still be posting there with about as much frequency as I am currently even if many of the posts there are simply mirrored from this site.
The Ghost Academy is a blog for me. I’ve grown a lot and learned more than I think I ever wanted to since I started Spooncraft a few years ago and I find myself in a unique and altogether pleasant (if not a bit precarious) place right now. I’m doing things a little different this time. I am going to avoid placing ads on this site for as long as humanly possible; not that I have anything against Google and making a few coins here and there, but I just find the whole thing tedious and not really worth the drama.
I’m going to be the sole contributor for this site. I might rarely have a guest blogger show up or even be graced with the musings of my gorgeous wife, but you’ll always see Spooner as the author of about 99% of the content. The focus will be tighter and subject matter more engaging.
And yes, there will still be worshiping of the glorious female figure in certain posts but I’m not really forcing you to read them. I’ll leave you now to get back to work with a question, please leave any replies in the comments section as usual below this post.
Pick one game you are playing now, and one game you are most looking forward to for 2010 and why?
Right now: Mass Effect 2, easily one of the best games I’ve played in many years.
One game for later this year? That’s a tough pick, but I think I’m going to go with Halo: Reach right now. It looks like Bungie wants to make their last Halo game SO GOOD, nobody else will want to work on the franchise.
